How-To Guides

Connect Cameras and Cables
  • Use HDMI for runs under 25 ft; use SDI for long runs up to 300 ft.
  • NDI cameras require Cat6 network on the same LAN.
  • Use balanced XLR from your soundboard for clean audio.
Show Lyrics from ProPresenter
  1. Enable NDI Output in ProPresenter (Preferences -> NDI -> Enable Output).
  2. Turn on Alpha Channel to make lyrics transparent.
  3. In OBS or vMix, add an NDI Source and select the ProPresenter feed.
Internet Test and Checklist
  • Run speedtest.net - 10 Mbps upload for 1080p, 25 Mbps for 4K.
  • Use wired Ethernet instead of WiFi.
  • Consider redundant ISP or bonded 4G/5G for failover.
